Job summary

Talnt is seeking an experienced Senior FSQA Manager to lead food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across multiple production sites in the Akron region. The role requires hands-on leadership, HACCP mastery, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional QA teams.

You will develop and maintain FSMS/QMS, oversee audits (SQF/BRCGS), CAPA programs, environmental monitoring, recalls readiness, and collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a food technical discipline or equivalent experience.
7–10+ years of progressive FSQA experience in food manufacturing with leadership responsibilities.
Deep knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, FDA/USDA requirements, and GFSI schemes (SQF, BRCGS).
Proven ability to lead internal audits, supplier audits, regulatory inspections, and CAPA programs.

Responsibilities

Lead and standardize FSQA programs across multiple facilities, ensuring consistent food safety policies and quality standards.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve FSMS, QMS, SOPs, and QC processes.
Oversee HACCP programs, CCP monitoring, preventive controls, verification, and corrective actions.
