Job summary

Talnt seeks an Associate Director of Food Manufacturing to lead multiple production facilities, directing safe, efficient operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality output.

The role partners with senior leadership to translate strategy into actionable plans, develops frontline leaders, and drives continuous improvement across powder, gummy, oil, cream, and liquid lines.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on manufacturing operations leadership experience in regulated environments such as nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or food & beverage.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing managers, supervisors, and frontline staff in high-volume or multi-line settings.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing machinery, mixing/blending systems, processing equipment, packaging operations, and workflows.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues involving equipment, labor, materials, processes, scheduling, quality, and performance.
• Working knowledge of GMP, SOPs, quality systems, safety, sanitation, documentation controls, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple facilities with a hands-on floor presence.
• Translate operational strategy into clear expectations for managers and frontline staff.
• Oversee processes, equipment capabilities, material flow, and production line performance across product categories.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, downtime, and throughput issues to improve productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coach and develop manufacturing leaders to strengthen accountability and execution of goals.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, training, and cross-training.
• Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, HR, and senior leadership to resolve issues.
