Job summary

MiLa is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead daily production operations, directing shift supervisors and the sanitation team to meet schedule and safety goals. The role reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on staffing, training, and operational execution on the production floor.

The position requires building accountability, coordinating with maintenance, and maintaining thorough records while upholding GMP and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in food or production manufacturing, including leading supervisors.
• Experience managing staffing and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of GMP and food-safety requirements.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, including Office/Workspace and scheduling systems.
• Experience with sanitation programs and audits (SQF/BRC a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Supervisors; ensure performance and accountability.
• Oversee sanitation team and maintain sanitation standards.
• Train, mentor, and develop employees and supervisors.
• Maintain staff qualifications and training for responsibilities.
• Create production and employee schedules; manage staffing levels.
• Coordinate production, warehouse, and sanitation as one operation.
• Own daily execution of the production schedule and address issues.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure GMP, food-safety procedures, and records are upheld.
