Jobot in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a production operations leader to manage end-to-end manufacturing processes. You will oversee processing, filling, packaging, and labeling while building and guiding salaried and hourly teams to deliver safety, quality, and efficiency outcomes.

The role requires strong budgeting and financial data skills, knowledge of GMP/HACCP, and experience with SAP or ERP systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to lead diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance.
• Strong budget, financial data management, and production ops knowledge.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full production operations including processing, filling, packaging, and labeling.
• Lead, develop, and manage salaried and hourly production teams.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Execute production strategies aligned with business goals and budget targets.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including safety, quality, efficiency, waste, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams for seamless operations.
• Manage production scheduling to meet inventory and demand requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead capital project support and operational enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and internal control standards.
• Maintain SOPs and ensure adherence across production areas.
