Responsibilities include achieving production targets, collaborating across functions to meet KPIs, reducing downtime, and identifying opportunities to enhance yields while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication in negotiations and conflict resolution.
• Experience managing budgets, industrial relations, and operations.
• Experience planning workflow, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines in projects/contracts.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold performance standards including on-time delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Build an engaged workforce using the employee engagement framework.
• Collaborate with sales, livestock, engineering, HR, and finance to hit KPIs.
• Ensure daily production targets are met and products meet specs.
• Identify opportunities to improve yield while maintaining specifications.
• Develop metrics for departments to drive commercial and operational outcomes.
• Manage manning levels to minimize overtime while meeting targets.
• Ensure adherence to company policies by all employees.
• Investigate new product development and revenue opportunities.
• Lead adoption of new technologies to reduce labour and improve yields.
• Maintain efficiency across processing facilities.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and conduct root cause analyses for downtime.
• Control operational costs per annual budget; explore cost-reduction opportunities.
