Job summary

NSF is seeking a Sr. Manager for Food Production to lead a high-performing team delivering service excellence for major brands and retailers. You will own client outcomes, define metrics, and drive continuous improvement across the lifecycle, maintaining safety, quality, and service standards.

The role is hybrid with three days on-site at our Ann Arbor headquarters; remote consideration may be possible for highly qualified candidates. Strong leadership and strategic oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 4-year degree.
• 10+ years in account management, client services, or related roles.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing client-facing teams with accountability for service delivery.
• Proven success growing client portfolios and retaining key accounts.
• Experience with executive stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong commercial acumen in pricing, renewals, and growth opportunities.
• Ability to operate in a high-growth, scalable environment.
• Experience in supply chain, audit, certification, or regulated environments preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Own the Supplier Assurance global P&L performance (around $15M), including forecasting, revenue, operational costs, margin, and overall profitability
• Lead the Supplier Assurance business with accountability for client outcomes, retention, account health, operational performance, and sustainable growth
• Drive global business growth in partnership with Sales leadership, identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts, broaden the global service scope, and maximize long-term client value
• Serve as the strategic relationship leader for key clients, building trusted partnerships, proactively managing account risks, and resolving complex escalations
• Play a key leadership role in developing and executing the three-year strategic plan to double the program, translating growth objectives into actionable commercial operational priorities
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Audit Delivery, Scheduling, Technical, and Operations to deliver a seamless client experience, scalable execution, and strong business results
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation, advancing service offerings, operational scalability, and market competitiveness
