Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager in Carrollton, TX to lead the maintenance department in a food manufacturing facility. You will drive preventive maintenance, oversee repairs, and optimize equipment reliability while ensuring product quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance plans, managing a skilled team, and coordinating with production to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, CMMS, and reliability techniques.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a food manufacturing setting.
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation and minimize production interruptions.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, plans, and schedules for equipment reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime and optimize schedules.
• Manage maintenance staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and development.
• Ensure safety protocols and OSHA compliance, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
• Manage budgets, spare parts inventory, and cost-effective maintenance operations.
• Utilize CMMS to track work orders, equipment history, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure parts and services and manage supplier relationships.
