Job Description

Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage outlets at Emily Hotel. Oversees service and supervisory philosophy, working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to monitor and adjust services and products for maximum profitability. Provides support to other Food and Beverage operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable service throughout the property.
• Participate actively in all outlets during service.
• Assist in manager development, training, recruiting, HR, and administrative duties.
• Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest and employee experiences.
• Manage costs, drive sales, and support financial goals.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop staff.
• Conduct inventories, manage supplies, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints effectively.
• Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Ensure staff grooming and punctuality.
• Review sales, resolve discrepancies, and prepare schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of house accounts, monitor station readiness, and update POS systems.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience
• 2+ years as GM or AGM in a full-service restaurant
• Leadership and team development skills
• Experience with inventory and BOH systems
• OpenTable and TOAST experience is a plus
• ServSafe & Basset Certified
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service, if applicable
