Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study.
- At least one year of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience helpful.
- Experience with FOIA requests and eDiscovery tools (Nuix Investigate, Relativity) is strongly desired.
- Must know FOIA rules/regulations and apply exemptions; basic legal citation and research tools required.
- Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with standard computer apps and document management systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct searches and analyze results to separate non-responsive, responsive, and privilege/exempt documents.
- Redact and code responsive documents for production.
- Perform legal research and support drafting of legal motions and memoranda.
