CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a FOIA Paralegal to support the legal mission of a large federal agency. The role involves performing legal review, FOIA request processing, and other litigation support tasks within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have paralegal certification or a JD, experience with FOIA, and familiarity with eDiscovery tools such as Nuix Investigate and Relativity. Strong research and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA‑accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.

Responsibilities

• Conduct searches and analyze result sets to separate non‑responsive documents from responsive ones and screen for privilege or FOIA exemptions.
• Redact and code responsive documents.
• Perform legal research.
• Draft legal documents.
