Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced

Department: Information Technology

CGS is seeking a Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager to join our team supporting the IT mission of a large federal agency. This position will allow candidates to demonstrate expertise in performing product management and product marketing tasks.

Skills and attributes for success:
  1. Drive the SecureRelease product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company.
  2. Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective.
  3. Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
  4. Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successfully achieved.
  5. Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  6. Drive the execution of the SecureRelease product, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  7. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.
  8. Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  9. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans.
  10. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
  11. Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Deloitte and its features across primary market segments.
  12. Manage and deliver Release Notes.
  13. Schedule walkthroughs.
  14. Manage client notifications.
  15. Schedule product deployment.
  16. Manage the feature requests queue and priorities.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in product design or engineering.
  2. Strong experience in a dynamic product management role.
  3. Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  4. Highly effective cross-functional team management.
  5. Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies.
  6. Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Ideally, you will also have:
  1. Master’s degree in product design or engineering.
  2. Previous software and web development experience.
  3. Proven experience working as a product developer in a non-managerial role.
