Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for their Advanced Design and Manufacturing team in Overland Park, KS. You will be responsible for designing specialty nuclear equipment and facilitating complex engineering projects that support national energy missions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical systems design, proficiency in advanced CAD software, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $185,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical system design experience, preferably in DOE/nuclear.
• 6+ years of CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong experience with FEA including structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses.

Responsibilities

• Engineer FOAK mechanical systems like gloveboxes and hot cells.
• Create high-fidelity CAD models and detailed design documentation.
• Apply nuclear codes, standards, and quality controls to designs.
