Job summary

Whitley Penn, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm, seeks a FLVS Senior Associate in Fort Worth, TX. This fully on-site role focuses on forensic accounting, litigation support, and valuation engagements, especially marital property and business disputes.

You will collaborate with Directors, prepare comprehensive reports, and help train analysts while advancing your leadership and technical skills in a high-growth firm environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA is a plus.
• CPA license or working toward eligibility is preferred.
• Broad background in litigation support / expert services.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Project management skills and leadership potential.
• Ethics and compliance orientation.
• Problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of financial standards, models, and tools.
• Interest in continual learning and knowledge expansion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with forensic accounting, litigation support, and business valuations for marital property and disputes.
• Communicate directions to Directors and contribute strategic recommendations.
• Deliver complete reports with supporting documents to the Managing Director.
• Prepare testifying expert materials and binders for trials and depositions.
• Develop internal/external networks through events and training.
• Manage projects by setting objectives and delegating tasks.
• Lead departmental training and foster continuous improvement.
• Review Associates' work for accuracy and consistency.
• Review schedules, ensure correct formatting and totals.
• Assist in recruiting and developing training materials.
