Job summary

Whitley Penn is seeking a Forensic, Litigation, & Valuation Services (FLVS) Associate to support matrimonial and business disputes in a fully on-site Fort Worth, TX office. The role focuses on forensic accounting, valuations, and related litigation support work alongside experienced professionals.

You will organize documents, prepare requests, conduct research, analyze financial data, and assist with deposition and trial preparation, while communicating findings to senior staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience (1+ years) in a similar service line.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or pursuing licensure encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and attorneys.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related accounting software.
• Desire to continually learn and expand technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with forensic accounting, litigation support, and business valuation engagements related to marital property and disputes.
• Organize, review, and summarize client documents.
• Prepare document request lists and research relevant records.
• Analyze financial and tax return information and schedules.
• Identify ownership structures and prepare organizational charts.
• Assist with deposition questions, mediation, and trial exhibits.
• Communicate findings clearly to seniors, directors, or partners.
