Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a hands-on Fluid Systems Engineer to support GS2 fluids design and production on the Florida site. You will own MRB dispositions, lead root-cause analyses, and coordinate across design, manufacturing, quality, test, and operations.

Responsibilities include supporting leak tests, validation, and on-site engineering during critical operations; collaborating with supply chain; driving improvements to reduce rework and cycle time.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, test, or development of fluid systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting hardware on the shop floor and resolving nonconformances.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering liaison between GS2 Fluids design and production for plumbing, valves, feed systems, pressurization, and pneumatics on the production floor.
• Own the MRB disposition of nonconformances for GS2 Fluids hardware in partnership with responsible design engineers.
• Lead triage, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for build issues, escapes, and test anomalies affecting GS2 Fluids Systems.
• Support daily production operations: respond to line stop issues, triage defects, review test data, and clear blockers to maintain schedule while protecting safety and quality.
• Coordinate with design owners to implement ECRs/ECOs for GS2 Fluids components and routings; provide feedback to improve drawings, models, instructions, and specifications.
