Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Product Design Engineer III – Fluid Systems in Orlando to lead the design and development of aftermarket fluid-system solutions for gas turbine applications.

You will conduct feasibility studies, drive design and validation efforts, and collaborate across teams to improve turbine performance and fleet reliability. The role requires strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and proficiency with design documentation, P&IDs, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 3–8 years of direct fluid system design experience for industrial machinery, power plants, or turbines.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies, requirements definition, design execution, and validation across the fluid systems product lifecycle.
• Develop and validate new fluid system products aligned with technical, operational, and quality requirements.
• Plan, execute, and report on test, analysis, and verification activities for turbine fluid systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to manage product requirements, traceability, and compliance using documented processes.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation including P&IDs, specifications, layouts, and piping docs.
