Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Gas Turbine Fluid Systems Engineer III to design and support auxiliary systems for gas turbines across multiple projects. You will work on gas, oil, air, hydrogen, steam, and water systems, driving safe, efficient, and innovative solutions from concept through commissioning.

The role involves FEED studies, piping design, stress analysis, and documentation, with travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 6+ years of engineering design experience; 12+ years may substitute for degree.
• Experience with gas turbine engineering, design and materials.
• Experience in process engineering, piping design, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle management and requirements management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and development of auxiliary systems for gas turbines.
• Perform FEED, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering studies.
• Specify vendor requirements for pumps, valves, and related components.
• Prepare process engineering calculations and documentation.
• Analyze flow networks using engineering tools.
• Develop P&ID and process diagrams with SmartPlant P&ID.
