Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking a Gas Turbine Fluid Systems Engineer III to design, analyze, and support fluid systems for gas turbines across projects. The role spans process, piping, equipment, controls, and commissioning, with emphasis on safe, repeatable improvements for hydrogen blends, emissions control, and alternate fuels.

Responsibilities include FEED and detailed design studies, vendor specification, piping layouts, and 3D design using PDS/PDMS/SmartPlant 3D.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum six (6) years of engineering design experience; twelve (12) years may substitute for degree.
• Knowledge of gas turbine engineering, including turbine configuration and materials.
• Experience with process engineering, piping design, and controls integration.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and requirements management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership in short-term critical-path development programs.
• Ability to manage workload and priorities with team coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret industry reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and customer correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and development of auxiliary systems for gas turbines.
• Perform feasibility and detailed engineering studies.
• Specify vendor equipment and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Prepare process calculations and technical documentation.
• Analyze flow networks using specialized software.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
• Prepare piping calculations and documentation.
• Create 3D layouts using PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant 3D, or Creo Piping.
• Support ISO audits and documentation controls.
• Travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.
