Job summary

Brown, LLC is seeking an experienced, aggressive litigation attorney to join our wage-and-hour practice. This is not a training position; candidates should bring substantial plaintiff-side FLSA and wage-and-hour experience or a proven record as a hard-hitting civil litigator capable of driving complex cases.

Responsibilities include managing collective or class actions, depositions, motions, discovery, and settlements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Experience in FLSA or wage-and-hour litigation.
• Ability to handle cases with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Litigate FLSA collective and Rule 23 class actions from investigation to resolution.
• Develop case strategy and manage assigned matters.
• Conduct client and witness interviews and factual investigations.
• Draft complaints, briefs, dispositive motions, discovery demands, and pretrial submissions.
• Take and defend depositions; argue motions and attend hearings.
• Lead settlement discussions and prepare matters for mediation, settlement, and trial.
