Job summary

Miltenyi Biotec in Washington, DC area is seeking a Senior Flow Cytometry Specialist to drive sales through lead generation and demonstrations. You’ll work independently or with technical sales reps to identify opportunities and present MACSQuant solutions across accounts.

The role requires 3–5 years in life sciences equipment sales (flow cytometry preferred), strong presentation skills, and ability to travel up to 70% domestically.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.S. or B.S. in a life sciences field with 3–5 years equipment sales experience.
• Flow cytometry experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to access restricted government accounts.
• 70% Domestic travel, <5% International travel.

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceed sales forecasts in designated area for assigned products.
• Identify potential sales leads and develop a plan to convert them.
• Routinely deliver customer presentations and workshops to generate interest.
• Plan and conduct product demos coordinating with FCAS and/or TSC.
• Travel domestically and internationally to strengthen relationships and solicit orders.
• Provide field support for MACSQuant install base and on-site training.
• Train and mentor other FCS personnel.
• Support candidate screening during new hire processes.
• Maintain price lists, presentations and competitive assessments in CRM.
