Job summary

Miltenyi Biotec, Inc. in Boston is seeking a field-based Sales Specialist to drive revenue for life sciences instruments. You will apply deep market knowledge, conduct product demonstrations, present to key opinion leaders, and coordinate with FCAS and TSC to close deals.

Travel domestically and internationally, build strong customer relationships, and provide training on MACSQuant products post-sale. A PhD/MS/BS with 3–5 years in life-sciences equipment sales is required; valid driver's license

Qualifications

Ph.D., M.S. or B.S. degree from a four-year college or university with 3–5 years of equipment sales in life sciences; flow cytometry experience preferred.
Familiar with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain clearance for restricted government accounts.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed company sales forecasts in designated area for assigned products.
Identify potential sales leads and develop plans to convert leads into sales.
Routinely present to customers and conduct workshops to build product interest.
