Genentech in South San Francisco is seeking a Scientist 2 to operate a broad range of flow cytometry systems, including spectral and imaging cytometers. You will train users, design 10+ color panels, and troubleshoot instrumentation to deliver reliable data.

You will also support multiplex immunoassays with assay prep, data analysis, and instrument maintenance. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in life sciences and 4+ years of hands-on experience are required.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences or related field.
4+ years hands-on experience operating conventional/spectral flow cytometry analyzers.
Experience with flow cytometry panel design (10+ colors) and optimization.
Working proficiency with FlowJo and BD FACSDiva.
Ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot flow cytometry instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

Perform routine instrument QC, setup, and maintenance for flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters.
Operate a broad range of conventional, spectral, and imaging cytometers (BD, Cytek).
Provide user training, guidance, and experimental consultation; panel design and data troubleshooting.
Support multiplex immunoassay workflows, including assay prep, data analysis, and instrument maintenance.
