Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PSM/PLS) in Port Orange, FL, to lead a diverse portfolio including submerged land leases, condominium documents, platting, and residential development. You will manage projects from initial research through deliverables, guiding field and office teams and maintaining strong client relations.

The role requires a Florida PSM license, robust surveying experience, and the ability to mentor junior staff while ensuring quality and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Florida PSM license required.
• Experience with submerged land leases, condominium documents, platting, and residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of boundary surveying, legal descriptions, easements, and rights‑of‑way.
• Proficiency with surveying drafting software and data collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage land surveying projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare boundary/topographic surveys, legal descriptions, plats, and related deliverables.
• Oversee submerged land leases and waterfront projects for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate subdivision platting and residential development with clients and agencies.
• Direct construction layout and verification surveys across multiple project types.
• Research deeds, plats, easements, and land records to support decisions.
• Mentor field and office staff; ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
