Job summary

Green Front Furniture Store Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Floor Crew Senior Lead to oversee daily floor crew operations and manage all shipping and receiving.

The role ensures merchandise is properly handled and displayed throughout the showroom while maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate brings material handling and supervisory experience in retail furniture, strong customer service, and proficiency with inventory systems (NetSuite preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling and supervisory roles required, preferably in a retail furniture environment.
• Strong working knowledge of online inventory control systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the floor crew team to ensure efficient merchandise handling and showroom organization.
• Oversee all receiving and shipping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update inventory control systems (NetSuite preferred) for the entire location.
• Actively participate in hands-on inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory accuracy and stock movement.
• Train and mentor floor crew team members, fostering a productive work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product inquiries and ensuring a well-organized showroom.
• Effectively communicate at all levels, both in person and through phone and email.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflow efficiency and operational effectiveness.
