Job summary

Agoda is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join the Performance Marketing Team in Chicago. You will analyze large datasets, develop data-driven insights, and influence marketing strategies across CRM and paid channels.

The role requires 8+ years in data analytics, strong SQL/Tableau skills, and excellent communication to present to senior stakeholders. You will mentor analysts and contribute to hiring while collaborating with product and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Analyst roles or large-scale data projects.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in BI tools and data warehouses (SQL, Tableau, MS Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Define Marketing strategy for Flights Vertical (outside of pricing).
• Lead development, execution, and optimization strategies for growing Agoda’s Flights business across channels (CRM, Paid Performance).
• Conduct end-to-end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends.
• Develop hypotheses, design experiments (A/B tests), and build structured analyses to evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data-driven decisions for channel growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing Accommodation, Flights product and flights supply to identify opportunities and interpret trends in data.
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of business initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Communicate complex findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and managers; participate in hiring and onboarding.
