XWING in Concord, CA is seeking a Senior/Staff Flight Research Test Pilot to operate R&D crewed and UAS platforms. Candidates must have FAA certifications, significant flight experience, and a background in STEM.

This role involves acting as the pilot in command for various platforms and conducting data analysis during testing. Compensation ranges from $140,500 to $231,600 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1500 hours pilot in command (PIC) flight time and 300 hours of turbine time.
• At least 8 years of experience in flight test position.

Responsibilities

• Act as the airborne and remote pilot in command for various R&D aircraft platforms.
• Create test plans, cards, and reports.
• Conduct data analysis.
• Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for system improvements.

Skills

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work extended hours and travel as required

Read and speak English proficiently

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, preferably Engineering
