Job summary

RTX’s Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced engineer to perform integration, verification, and field tests for complex aerospace systems. The role requires evaluating requirements, diagnosing faults, and documenting Test Plans, TRRs, and CTS packages. Occasional travel (20%) is expected, and security clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship is mandatory for selection due to DoD requirements and the role is onsite without remote work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Hardware Systems Integration experience.
Platform Integration/Flight Test experience.
Experience evaluating requirements.
Experience with troubleshooting and failure processes.
Experience with Verification and Validation methods.

Responsibilities

Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing.
Perform data collection activities and provide detailed reports of results.
Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems.
Familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and fault tree analysis.
Create/modify documentation in support of reviews: Test Plans, Test Readiness Review, Consent to Ship, Test Data Review.
