FedEx Group in Memphis, TN is seeking a senior flight operations analyst who develops safe, legal, reliable and cost-efficient trip pairings, bid lines, and monthly schedules for pilots, in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, the CBA, and Company policies. Provides statistical, comparative, and trend analyses of outputs from automated systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in aviation or a quantitative field and at least six years in flight operations, including data analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in aviation, business or quantitative discipline.
Six (6) years related experience in a flight operations environment including statistical analysis, modeling or computer applications.
Knowledge of FARS relating to pilot flight & duty times and pilot work rules.

Responsibilities

Ensures the department is meeting KPI objectives set by management.
Monitors the software applications used by the department and reports defects.
Assists in writing requirements to enhance software applications and testing new releases.
Provides business expertise to management and staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
