Job summary

Agustawestland Philadelphia Corporation seeks a Senior Manager of Flight Line Quality Control to lead quality assurance across flight line activities, ensuring compliance with FAA requirements and AS9100 standards. The role emphasizes safety, delivery integrity, and continuous improvement within a high-stakes aerospace environment.

The Senior Manager will drive leadership, develop competencies, and engage with executive stakeholders to ensure zero-defect aircraft delivery readiness and alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of management and quality experience with AS9100 QMS & FAA requirements.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience; proven leadership and change-agent capabilities.
• ASQ Certification desired; FAA A&P license or military equivalent desired.
• Strong ability to engage with stakeholders at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Safe and on-time actions delivering helicopters through operation, ground run, flights, acceptance & delivery.
• Resource management and competency development of workforce to meet customer and market demand.
• Ensure Quality System compliance with FAA guidelines and procedures.
• Represent QC as primary contact for customer delivery activities.
• Proactive planning and execution of aircraft operations and delivery activities.
• Continuous improvement using DMAIC and statistical analysis to improve processes.
