Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters is seeking a Senior Quality Manager for Flight Line Quality Control. You will lead safety-focused quality execution across pre-flight, ground tests, and flight testing, ensuring zero-defect aircraft delivery.

Expertise in FAA P21, AS9100, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement is required. Lead a team, manage resources, and collaborate with operations to balance safety, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of management and Quality experience or Equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desired, Green belt required.
• ASQ Certification highly desired.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or verified military equivalent desired.

Responsibilities

• Bring Production Helicopters to safe operation, ground run, and flight acceptance.
• Resource management and competency development to meet demand.
• Ensure Quality System compliance with FAA guidelines and AS9100.
• Serve as QC contact for customer delivery activities.
• Lead proactive planning for aircraft operations and delivery events.
• Apply DMAIC and statistical methods to improve flight line processes.
