Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical/astronautical engineering, physics or applied mathematics.
• Five+ years in flight mechanics, astrodynamics, or trajectory optimization.
• Experience in space-relevant planning or battle management is preferred.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Fortran, Python, Linux, Java and/or MATLAB.
• Willing to travel domestically ~10% and eligible for US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Trajectory design and optimization for launch vehicles and spacecraft across multiple regimes.
• Astrodynamics and orbit mechanics analysis including maneuvers and transfers.
• Develop CONOPS and TTPs for space systems and support operational decisions.
• Provide technical and risk assessments aligned with national space priorities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and deliver integrated analysis products.
