Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a senior backend engineer to scale and evolve our flight technology stack. You will own critical backend services and APIs powering flight search, booking, and servicing, while shaping API architecture, data models, and caching strategies.

Remote-first across Europe with a hybrid option in Barcelona, Dublin, London or Palma. You will have meaningful technical ownership in a small, growing team and work across a low-process culture that values autonomy.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of software development experience with deep backend and API expertise.
• Hands-on experience with NDC and the flight booking lifecycle.
• Practical, recent experience developing with Python in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Scale and evolve the existing flight product into reliable, flexible infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for flight search, booking, and servicing.
• Make key technical decisions on API architecture, caching, data models, and reliability.
