Job summary

Monroechamber in Franksville, WI is seeking a Flexo Press Operator - Printer / Slotter. The role pays $25.00/hour for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm). You will set up, print, and die-cut on the Flexo, inspect dies, and ensure equipment bolts are secure to maintain quality output.

Candidates with a high school diploma or GED and experience in the corrugated industry are preferred; six months as a Press Department First Helper or in Press/Finishing is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• At least six months of experience as a Press Department First Helper is a plus.
• At least six months of experience in the Press and Finishing Department is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Inspect all dies before and after run to ensure repairs are done before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for cutting dies are in place and tightly secured.
• Monitor box quality, including loose liner, warp, correct size, and print.
• Check anilox rolls for damage.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Train and assist First Helper, Flexo Stacker, and Bundlers with job duties on the machine.
• Cross-train on other machines.
• Complete necessary reports accurately and timely.
• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping.
