The Oklahoma Department of Transportation District 8 seeks a Fleet Specialist I, II, or III to perform maintenance and repair on a variety of vehicles and equipment in Tulsa, OK. The role includes diagnosing mechanical issues, operating diagnostic tools, and may involve welding and fabricating parts as needed.

Positions are full-time with regular duties in a repair facility setting, including supervision of staff and coordination with engineering and other departments to prioritize work and

Competenze

• Involves mechanical/technical work in repair and maintenance of state vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic problems.
• Welding and fabrication skills may be required.

• Perform major and minor preventive maintenance on state vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic problems; operate diagnostic tools and computer software; weld and fabricate.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and inspect equipment for safety and proper operation.
• Assist in writing specifications; manage inventory and parts procurement.
