Senior Fleet Software Engineer — Observability & Deployment

Job summary

Rhoda AI is seeking software engineers to build and operate the observability stack for a fleet of deployed robots. You will own telemetry pipelines, dashboards, and alerting to keep the fleet healthy and scalable while collaborating with operations and response teams.

You will work on end-to-end software, from device telemetry to cloud-based dashboards, and contribute to OTA updates and release automation as the fleet scales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering with ownership of internal tooling or reliability systems.
• Proficient in Python and at least one systems language (Go, C++, or Rust).
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong distributed-systems fundamentals across data transport, monitoring, and fault tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Build and own fleet observability: metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards for live robots.
• Design telemetry and data pipelines to move robot data to the cloud for monitoring and model training.
• Develop alerting and on-call tooling to reduce MTTR and automate diagnostics.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and OTA software deployment with staged rollout and rollback.
