Qualifications

• 5 Years of experience in leadership positions supervising a union workforce.
• Ability to develop technicians to improve productivity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred or 3-5 years of Automotive/Fleet technical and managerial experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of medium/heavy-duty trucks and mounted equipment is highly preferred.
• MA CDL Class A driver's license preferred and ASE certifications are desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervises first and/or second-shift workers at one or multiple garage locations.
• Ensures fleet vehicles and garages comply with safety regulations and high safety standards.
• Supports the goal of zero injuries every day.
• Ensures work orders are complete and correct.
• Keeps financial targets for each garage and department.
• Provides support to clients in various lines of business.
• Leads garage personnel and develops leaders.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, safety and employment laws and policies.
• Directs workforce planning and schedules to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Responds to emergency requests for Storm and restoration needs.
