National Grid plc in the Greater Boston area seeks a Senior Supervisor, Fleet to oversee operations and maintenance of a safe, reliable fleet across Malden, MA and Waltham, MA. You will lead garage teams, coordinate day and night shifts, and ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/Interpersonal experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred or 3–5 years automotive/fleet experience.
• 3–5 years maintenance and repair of medium/heavy-duty trucks and associated equipment preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as CDL, state inspector licenses, and ASE certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise first and/or second-shift workers at garage locations.
• Ensure fleet and garages meet safety regulations and high safety standards.
• Support the goal of zero injuries every day.
• Ensure work orders are complete and correct.
• Meet financial targets for each garage and department.
• Coordinate workforce planning and day/night shift schedules for efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies to support storm and restoration efforts.
