Job summary

Rhoda AI is building a fleet of generalist robots. You will develop software and infrastructure to observe and monitor deployed robots, from telemetry collection to dashboards and tooling that enable proactive responses.

You’ll work with ops and response teams to ensure smooth scaling of the fleet. You will own observability, alerting, and deployment pipelines, collaborating with software teams to automate OTA updates and maintain consistent fleet provisioning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering with ownership of tooling or reliability systems.
• Proficiency in Python plus at least one systems language (Go, C++, or Rust).
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with a major cloud (AWS or GCP), containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals across data transport, monitoring, and fault tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Build and own fleet observability: metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards for live robots.
• Design telemetry and data pipelines to move robot data to the cloud for monitoring and model training.
• Create fleet-health dashboards and reports to spot performance changes and regressions.
• Build alerting and on-call tooling to route issues with proper context.
• Automate diagnostics and incident capture to reduce manual toil.
