Rhoda AI is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain the broad onboard and cloud software stack for our generalist robots. You will work across networking, data pipelines, telemetry, and tooling to keep robots running and scalable.

You'll collaborate with ML, perception, and control teams, implement ROS/ROS2 workflows, and contribute to field testing on real hardware in a fast-moving startup environment.

Formación

• For experienced hires: 2+ years of experience in robotics software engineering, embedded systems, cloud software, or a closely related field
• Solid educational background in CS, EE, or Robotics or related fields
• High-quality software fundamentals and strong collaboration skills

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain networking and communication infrastructure connecting onboard systems to cloud and controls
• Own data collection pipelines capturing sensor telemetry and behavioral data for model training
• Develop telemetry and observability systems for real-time robot health and field performance
• Create internal tooling to accelerate robot software development, including deployment pipelines and logging
• Productize the Rhoda Platform for efficient integration with vendor robot hardware
• Support bring-up and field testing of new hardware revisions across the onboard stack
• Collaborate with ML, perception, and control engineers to meet data quality and reliability requirements
