AMR is seeking a Lead Fleet Mechanic to serve as the technical lead for ambulances and fleet vehicles. You will perform advanced diagnostics, supervise shop personnel, and ensure maintenance meets safety and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced, on-call environment. A strong toolset and ASE certifications are required to maintain high reliability in emergency services.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of automotive or fleet maintenance experience.
• Journeyman-level mechanical experience.
• Strong electrical diagnostic experience and ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Current valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must possess a complete set of personal mechanic tools.
• ASE Certifications A1-A8 (including Brake Certification ASE or equivalent).
• ASE 609 Certification or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on ambulances and fleet vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems.
• Read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and wiring schematics.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and work orders.
• Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, safety, and high-quality workmanship.
• Assist the Fleet Manager with employee development, performance feedback, and training initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency fleet maintenance needs.
