Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic III to keep the company fleet roadworthy and ready for service. The role involves preventive maintenance and repair work on trucks, trailers, and related equipment, with occasional roadside assistance.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, vocational training preferred, and 3–5 years of related experience. CDL is a plus but not required, with strong safety and tool-handling skills emphasized.

Formación

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Three to five years related experience depending on path.
• Capable of servicing brakes and diesel trucks.
• Knowledge of safety rules and company safety program.
• Proficient with basic hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on fleet trucks/trailers and other company equipment.
• May respond to roadside calls for disabled vehicles.
• Interpret repair manuals and work orders for proper repairs.
• Adhere to safety rules and attend safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
