Job summary

Greatjob is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic (Level II/III) to diagnose, repair, and fabricate for a diverse fleet of trucks and landscaping equipment. The role requires independent troubleshooting, adherence to safety and DOT standards, and mentorship of junior mechanics.

You will lead advanced maintenance, perform complex welding, use diagnostic tools, and document work orders in Fleetio. A strong hands-on background and leadership abilities are essential for this technical specialist

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanic experience.
• Experience with landscaping fleet equipment preferred.
• ASE/CDL or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on gasoline and diesel trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting with advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer resources.
• Complete DOT-level inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior mechanics and provide hands-on coaching.
• Document work orders and service reports in Fleetio.
