Job summary

Waste Pro of Mississippi Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager in Southaven, MS. This role leads the maintenance staff, manages the preventive and corrective maintenance program, and ensures fleet reliability and safety across the division.

You will collaborate with the Regional Maintenance Manager and Operations teams to optimize costs, inspect vehicles, and drive performance metrics while ensuring EPA, DOT, and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 15+ years of progressive hands-on experience in fleet management.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Specialized understanding of maintenance procedures and regulations (EPA/DOT/OSHA).
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with maintenance software (e.g., Dossier).

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and overtime for maintenance staff.
• Maintain an ongoing preventive/corrective maintenance program and service standards.
• Review road calls, breakdowns, parts inventory, repairs, and safety performance.
• Provide hands-on maintenance assistance when needed.
• Coordinate with Safety and Regional Maintenance Manager on fleet efficiency and compliance.
