Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet, equipment, maintenance, or related management experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with commercial vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, or similar assets.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs or fleet management systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel between Longs, SC and Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and records for trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Track vehicles by location, department, or crew.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate repairs with internal staff and outside vendors.
• Monitor fleet readiness and optimize asset life.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA/DOT requirements.
• Manage shop and parts inventory.
