Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Leader to direct fixed plant maintenance across quarry and processing operations, focusing on reliability, safety, and performance. You will plan preventive, predictive, and corrective work, develop technicians, manage budgets, and collaborate with operations to reduce downtime.

This role supports sites across our network and may involve travel to field locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process equipment maintenance practices.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance data, identify root causes, and implement reliability improvements.
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, contractors, shutdowns, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and operational performance.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Develop and coach maintenance team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, contractors, and capital projects to support efficient operations.
• Partner with operations teams to identify improvement opportunities, reduce downtime, and improve plant performance.
