ORION is seeking a Senior Fixed Income Analyst to conduct in-depth credit research across corporate and municipal issuers and to support portfolio managers across SMAs, with a focus on high-conviction recommendations and portfolio positioning.

Hybrid role with 3+ days on-site; candidates should reside within commuting distance of an Orion office. You will lead research, mentor analysts, and contribute to new strategies and client discussions.

Qualificações

• Advanced credit analysis including financials, leverage, coverage ratios, cash flow modeling and covenant evaluation.
• Municipal finance expertise: budgets, pension/OPEB liabilities, revenues and GO bonds.
• Strong relative value and structured product analysis across fixed income sectors.
• Proficiency in portfolio construction: duration, yield curve positioning, sector and credit allocation.
• Experience with OTC fixed income trading, pricing, liquidity assessment and best-execution.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct independent, in-depth research on corporate issuers, including financial analysis and sector outlooks.
• Analyze state and local municipal finances, pension obligations, tax-base trends, and debt structures.
• Provide buy/hold/sell recommendations and contribute to portfolio decisions.
• Lead the development of credit frameworks, market outlooks, and issuer lists.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive process improvements for scalable research.
