Job summary
Orion is seeking an Investment Strategist to partner with the portfolio team to shape investment strategy, product selection, and asset allocation for clients. You will support advisors and internal teams with portfolio construction and market insights.
This hybrid role requires three or more on-site days weekly at one of Orion's offices. A Bachelor's in finance/economics, a Series 65 or 7/66 within 90 days, and at least three years of investment experience are expected, along with strong
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- Series 65 or Series 7 & 66 within 90 days of hire.
- minimum 3 years investment industry experience.
- CFA or CFP preferred or in progress.
- Experience in market research, asset allocation, portfolio management or due diligence.
Responsibilities
- Review risk tolerances and goals to guide product and asset allocation.
- Support investment management of client portfolios as directed.
- Generate tailored portfolio proposals for advisors/clients.
- Meet with advisors to review proposals and rebalance as needed.
- Create portfolio analytics to support allocation recommendations.
- Develop macroeconomic content and comments for client engagement.
