Northland Securities, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fixed Income Associate to provide experienced client support, sales assistance, and operational coordination within the Institutional Fixed Income team.

The role emphasizes onboarding, trade execution support, and municipal credit coordination with the Financial Strategies group. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial services, FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, 63) and a finance-related bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a financial services environment, or relevant internships.
• FINRA licenses; SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Unrestricted work authorization; sponsorship not required.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and service client accounts, process orders, and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare and review client paperwork; support onboarding and follow-up.
• Assist brokers with trade execution and trade affirmations.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and sales teams to resolve issues.
• Provide client-facing materials and maintain regulatory compliance.
