Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC, based in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Dornier 328 Jet Second in Command. This role supports on-demand charter and scheduled service to Mammoth and Crescent City, reporting to the Chief Pilot.

Candidates must meet FAA FAR 135 requirements with 1,500 total hours, cross-country, PIC, night, instrument, multi-engine, and turbine PIC hours; must live within two hours of base; one-year commitment.

Qualifications

FAA Part 135 experience and ATP Multi required.
Total Time: 1,500 hours minimum.
Cross Country Time: 500 hours minimum.
PIC Time: 250 hours minimum.
Nighttime: 100 hours minimum.
Instrument flight: 75 hours (50 actual).
Multi-Engine: 50 hours minimum.
PIC-Turbine: 300 hours minimum.
Must pass FAA competency checks within the preceding 12 months.

Responsibilities

Perform a visual Pre and Post Flight inspection prior to and after each flight.
Assist the Pilot-in-Command during all phases of flight.
Assume primary safety responsibility for passengers, crew, cargo, and aircraft as required.
Brief PIC on all customer service items including passenger pickup/drop-off, refueling, customs, hangar operations, and catering.
Ensure completion of customer service portions of each leg as outlined in the SOPs.
Comply with FAR 135, OPS Manual, OPS Specifications, SOPs, and Company Policies.
Update flight and duty records and report maintenance discrepancies promptly.
Participate in safety and quality systems by identifying and mitigating hazards.
