Job summary

Cutter Aviation is seeking a highly skilled PIC to operate the LR60/Learjet for on-demand charter missions under Part 91 and Part 135. The role requires 24/7 availability, schedule flexibility, and the ability to respond to short-notice callouts.

You will represent Cutter Aviation with poise, uphold strict safety standards, mentor the SIC, and deliver an exceptional client experience on every leg. Strong candidates have 3,000+ total hours, 1,500+ PIC, a current FAA license, and a First Class

Qualifications

Minimum 3,000 hours total time and 1,500 hours PIC.
Valid FAA pilot license and current First Class Medical.
No accidents, incidents, or sanctions within the past 5 years.
Strong knowledge of general aviation aircraft and crew needs.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor the SIC.
Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; pass drug screen and background check.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Operate the LR60/Learjet as PIC for Part 91 and 135 on-demand missions with safety first.
Serve as Cutter Aviation’s primary field-facing representative with owners and operators.
Maintain 24/7 availability, support rotating schedules, and respond to callouts.
Ensure FAA regulatory compliance for flight operations and aircraft requirements.
Follow procedures for reporting irregularities and logs; keep accurate records.
Train and mentor the SIC; perform administrative tasks as directed.
Deliver an exceptional client experience on every leg—professional and proactive.
